Kyra minturn
Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born on 19th August 1965) is an American producer, actress and director. Her leading role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and she also won a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The seventh season of the series was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), teacher and family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian and of English origin. Sedgwick says she is Jewish and says she attends Passover seders.
